The effects may onset as quickly as 30 minutes or can take up to 3 hours to kick in, and the duration can last between 4 and 6 hours. Washington State regulates the serving size to 10mg of THC which will effect everyone differently. For some people 5mg is enough, and for others 50mg or more is needed to achieve the desired effect. We always recommend starting with a single serving and then eating/drinking more if needed. Edibles provide a heavy, full body, sedative effect, which can be great for night time, relaxing, or recovering.
A common question we often hear is, "What are dabz?" The simplest way to explain dabz are to think of them as a type of modern-day hash. Dabz are a highly concentrated form of cannabis oil, similar to hash. You will also hear them referred to as: wax, shatter, oil, crumble & more. The term "dab" refers to the idea that a small dab is all you'll need because it is so highly concentrated. Dabbing is the quickest way to receive the strongest and most concentrated cannabis high. Needless to say, first time users should proceed with caution...and excitement.
Traditional dabbing setups include a bong, a nail, a dome, and a torch. Although one of the newest and easiest way to use dabz is a dab pen (similar to a vape) all of which we sell next door in our glass shop.
Cannabis topicals are great for everyone, because they are highly effective without the HIGH. Topicals are cannabis-infused lotions, balms, and oils that are absorbed through the skin for localized care. Because they are non-intoxicating, topicals are often chosen by those who want the medicinal benefits of cannabis without the cerebral euphoria associated with smoking it. Topicals are great for clear headed everyday use, recovery from injuries, and can also be beneficial for skin care. Topicals are a great way to introduce cannabis to skeptics who have doubts about the effectiveness of non-psychoactive cannabis products for medicinal purposes.
CBD has been the biggest news to hit the health and wellness world in decades. If you don't believe us, just google it. CBD can be used in many forms including eating edibles, smoking high CBD flower, vaping, concentrates and topicals. THC is the more commonly known cannabinoid, which gets you high. CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid (which means it won't make you feel high) that provides endless benefits for millions of users all over the world for a myriad of conditions. Due to Federal guidelines, we are unable to provide any medical advice, however, we are more then happy to explain what CBD are, and how they work. Even though we are not allowed to make medical recommendations, we all have our own personal CBD success stories that we are happy to share.
The original cannabis concentrates. Kief is a collection of all the beautiful little crystals (trichomes) you see on your weed. Easily collected in the bottom of your grinder, or available for purchase in our shop. Great for infusing your own joints, topping off a bowl, or even used to make your own edibles. The possibilities are endless. Hash is a time-honored tradition for cannabis users all over the world. The making of hashish is an ancient art form originating in Asia and the Middle East, and has been perfected by our local hashish artisans. Hash is also great for infusing your own joints, topping off a bowl, or smoking on its own in traditional Lebanese fashion!
Indica strains tend to induce a strong physical body high that provides a deep relaxation feeling. Indicas will possibly make you sleepy or ‘couch-locked’, which can be great in the perfect set and setting. These types of strains tend to be more sedating, with full body effects. Great for chilling out during the evening or night time, or whenever you just need to relax and go to bed.
Known to be more energetic and uplifting, sativa strains are great to stimulate and energize your day. Sativas can be great for mood boosting, maintaining focus, and connecting with others through great conversations. Sativas also tend to have more creative & cerebral focused effects, making them great for daytime and social activities.
Sativa and Indica are the two main types of cannabis plants which can be cross-bred to create hybrid strains. Each strain has its own range of effects on the body and mind. Some hybrid strains can have a balanced head and body high, whereas others might lean more one way or the other. Hence terms like sativa-dominant or indica dominant hybrid.
